Some of the most common complaints of Club Penguin Island

I’ve been looking through the reviews of Club Penguin Island on the Google Play Store… And I’m starting to get a bit concerned. So today, I’m looking through the most common complaints posted on there.

“Terrible”

I just want to address this because it seems people don’t understand the concept of a review. I’ve seen many videos from people saying that Disney ruined Club Penguin (something I personally disagree with, but everyone’s allowed to have an opinion), and they all gave reasons for their claim. In these reviews, however, they tell Disney that this game is terrible, and that’s it. That isn’t helpful. If you don’t tell them why this game is terrible, they can’t improve on it. Even I may be oblivious to the problems of this game, but I will never know if nobody points it out to me.

“Not Enough Content”

This is one of the few problems I managed to notice. However, I don’t hate this game for it. Why? Well… Here’s the thing: Have you ever heard of beta? Or Early Access? It’s when a company releases a game early for people to test, and reveal problems. This inherently means that the game is unfinished. That’s the point. They want to find the bugs BEFORE finishing the game, that way they won’t have to fix thousands of lines of code just after release because they missed problems that could have been caught by beta testers. Disney called this a geo-beta. This game is in beta. Give it a break, IT’S NOT FINISHED!!!

“Most of the features are paid”

This is not and never was a valid complaint. You see, games like this not only costs money to make, but also to maintain. Everything Disney does costs money to maintain. I get you don’t want to spend money. Too bad. If you want it, you pay for it. This game is especially expensive since they have to handle billions of connections a day. There’s a reason Rocketsnail sold this game to Disney. It became too expensive. Be glad you will have any access to this game for free. You should know the only reason you get to play this game at all is because of the people who are paying. If nobody was paying, Disney would have no income from this game, it would be too expensive to maintain, and they would be forced to shut it down. Just like they did with Pixie Hollow, Pirates of the Carribian Online, and Cars Online. And no, they don’t get enough money from Club Penguin. THAT’S WHY THEY’RE DOING THIS!!!

“This is not a replacement for Club Penguin”

…Umm, yeah it is. That’s kinda what’s going on right now.

In any case, these are the most prominent complaints in the review section in the Google Play Store. Now if you’re going to make a negative review, make sure not to say any of this. You’ll look like you’re 7 years old.
